Did you know that as a homeowner considering a remodeling project you can create a “virtuous circle’ in our community with the help of the Habitat for Humanity Restore and your NARI contractor?
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a non-profit donation and home improvement center. The ReStore sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home décor and building material to the public at prices well below retail. The funds raised at the 5 metro Atlanta ReStores in Lawrenceville, Roswell, Smyrna, Doraville and McDonough support the work Habitat for Humanity does in our local community and around the world.
Habitat partners with families who need a hand up to build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.
The Habitat ReStores are proud members of NARI Atlanta. We work with professional NARI contractors to help create the “virtuous circle”. The contractor's client, for whom the project is being done, has the opportunity to receive a tax deduction for items removed or deconstructed from the project, the NARI contractor reduces their disposal fees and keeps reusable products out of our landfills.
The ReStore customer gets a great bargain purchasing the products that have been donated and the funds ReStore raised at the ReStore go back into our Habitat work of building homes and hope. If you are considering a remodeling project in the near future, please ask your contractor how your project can be part of the "virtuous circle".
